Heba Zayyan is the Regional Women, Peace, Security and Humanitarian Action Advisor at UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States. She previously served as UN Women Head of Gaza Sub-Office and Lead of UN Women’s Palestine national portfolio on Women, Peace, Security, and Humanitarian Action. Her experience covers various countries including Jordan, Türkiye, Moldova, and Egypt where she focused on operationalizing the humanitarian-development-peace nexus and designing refugee, humanitarian and peace building programming and responses in crisis settings.
