Héðinn Halldórsson is a Communications Advisor and Strategist, based in Copenhagen, working for one of the World Health Organization's six regional offices.
With a background in broadcast journalism, Héðinn has for the past 15 years worked on humanitarian reporting in emergencies in more than thirty countries. He's worked in conflict areas for UNICEF, OCHA, WHO, IFRC and Save the Children. Among countries where Héðinn has lived and worked are Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Sudan, Ukraine, Iraq, oPt, Somalia and Yemen. Héðinn holds a Masters degree in International Development from the University of Manchester, with a particular focus on poverty, conflict and reconstruction.
