Rósa Magnúsdóttir is Professor of History at the University of Iceland. She is the author of Enemy Number One: The United States of America in Soviet Ideology and Propaganda, 1945–1959 (Oxford University Press, 2019), a biography of Icelandic Stalinists, and most recently a book on Reykjavík as a Cold War city. Her research focuses on Soviet-American relations, the cultural Cold War, communism, peace activism, nuclear issues, and Cold War propaganda.
