Alexander Trengereid is a PhD research fellow at the University of Stavanger, specializing in risk management and societal safety. His research focuses are on the micro- and macro management of societal safety organizations, with a particular focus on how decision making processes, organizational learning and cross-sectoral coordination shape preparedness and crisis response. He acted as a research assistant on the Norwegian case and as a co-author of several papers, as well as a country-specific chapter on Norway.
