Svitlana Zalishchuk is a Ukrainian politician, former activist and journalist.
Currently she works as an Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine on European and Euro-Atlantic integration. In 2019, she advised the Prime Minister of Ukraine on Foreign Policy.
Zalishchuk was elected as a member of the Ukrainian Parliament from 2014-2019, during which time she also served on the Committee for Foreign Affairs. Zalishchuk was also a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in 2014-2016. Her political profile includes foreign affairs, energy security, anticorruption policy, and gender equality. She was an active leader of the EuroMaidan movement and a founder of a number of national influential civil initiatives.
Zalishchuk has been consistently recognised by Novoe Vriemia magazine as one of the most influential women in Ukraine and in 2016 she was granted the Anna Lindh Prize.
