Isabel Bramsen is Director of Peace and Conflict Studies and Associate Professor at Lund University, Department of Political Science. In her research she applies a micro-sociological framework to study diplomacy, peace processes and dialogue to nonviolent resistance and violence in a variety of contexts in the Middle East, Europe, South America and Asia. She is the author of the book, The micro-sociology of peace and conflict, Cambridge University Press. She is member of Nordic Women Mediators (NWM) and mediator at the Centre for Conflict Resolution (CFK).
