Peer Schouten is a senior researcher at Danish Institute for International Studies, associate researcher at International Peace Information Service and visiting professor at Ghent University. His research focuses on the intersections of conflict, the global economy and climate change. He is, amongst others, the author of Roadblock Politics (2022, Cambridge University Press).
