Hafdís Hanna Ægisdóttir is the Director of the Institute for Sustainability Studies at the University of Iceland. She is also a consultant on environmental- and development cooperation issues for government agencies, a leadership- and life coach, and a regular columnist on environmental issues at the Icelandic Broadcasting Service. She holds a PhD in plant ecology from the University of Basel in Switzerland.
