Beint streymi frá ráðstefnunni:

Ráðstefnan markar útgáfu bókarinnar "Nordic Crisis Management: Well-Performing Governance During COVID-19", sem Ásthildur Elva Bernharðsdóttir, prófessor við Háskólann á Bifröst, og Baldur Þórhallsson, prófessor við Háskóla Íslands, ritstýra. Í bókinni er í fyrsta sinn gerður kerfisbundin samanburður og greining á því hvernig Norðurlöndin fimm, ásamt Grænlandi og Færeyjum, brugðust við COVID-19 faraldrinum. Litið verður til þess hvaða lærdóm megi draga af þessari reynslu, hvernig hún nýtist við stjórnun næstu áfalla og hvort Norðurlöndin séu nægilega vel undibúin fyrir næstu áföll í síbreytilegum og óvissum heimi.

Á ráðstefnunni koma saman fræðimenn frá öllum Norðurlöndunum sem tekið hafa þátt í rannsóknarverkefninu "Áfallastjórnun í COVID-19 faraldrinum: Stjórnarhættir og leiðtogahæfni". Í verkefninu hefur verið rannsakað hvernig stærð stjórnsýslu, stjórnskipulag og stofnanaleg uppbygging, ásamt menningu, mótuðu áfallastjórnun í COVID-19 faraldrinum.
