Implementation of SDGs in the Nordic Arctic (ISDeGoNA) project is a collaboration between the Centre for Arctic Studies and Höfði Reykjavík Peace Centre at the University of Iceland, the Arctic Centre, the University of Lapland in Finland and the Centre for Arctic Sustainable Societies in Norway as the leading partner.
The project aims at establishing a Nordic research network on sustainable development studies to generate knowledge on sustainability in the Arctic context, with strong stakeholder involvement. The research objective is to generate knowledge on the local experiences with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the Nordic Arctic. The project outcomes will be relevant to both local stakeholders, regional and national authorities and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
