Life in North-Korea

Yeonmi Park, author of the bestselling book In Order to Live, talks about life in North-Korea. Park escaped North-Korea with her family when she was 13 and now campaigns against the alleged human rights abuses taking place under Kim Jong-un’s dictatorship.

Bjarni Benediktsson, Prime Minister of Iceland, will give an opening address and welcome Yeonmi Park to the podium.

Vera Knútsdóttir, Director of the United Nations Association of Iceland, will react to Yeonmi Park’s talk and moderate the event.

The seminar will take place in English and is open to all.
