Germany’s vision for Europe: Challenges and Prospects

In recent years the EU has been facing the most difficult internal and external challenges in its history. When addressing these challenges EU member states need to remind themselves that they live in mutual dependence. Solidarity is the driving force of European integration – especially in difficult circumstances. In this open seminar Michael Roth, Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office, will talk about Germany’s role and vision for the EU and its contribution to make it an even stronger and more reliable partner.

Opening remarks by Ambassador Thomas Meister.

Moderator: Ingólfur Bjarni Sigfússon, Web and Social Media Manager, The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service.

The seminar will take place in English and is open to all.
