Shadows of the Cold War?
The Cold War ended at least officially in 1989. This lecture explores the legacies of the Cold War and how our contemporary world has been shaped by the actions of policy makers in the post 1945 world.
Caroline Kennedy is Professor of War Studies at the University of Hull. Caroline has a First class degree in History, an MSc in Strategic Studies and a D-Phil in International Relations. She has published extensively on the Cold War and issues of contemporary security, including the monographs Russia and the World and The Origins of the Cold War. Currently she is working on IEDs and their impact on war and conflict.
