Dr. Gunilla Herolf from SIPRI gave a lecture Friday, October 14th on the variable geometry of the European security policy, in Oddi 201 from 12:00 to 13:00. The seminar is part of the IIA´s seminar series called the Europe Dialogues sponsored by a Jean Monnet grant.
Previous seminars include a lecture given by Dr. Clive Archer, Professor Emeritus and Jean Monnet Professor of Political Science at Manchester Metropolitan University, on the security of small states in the European Union, held on September 9th.
On Friday 16th September Annica Kronsell, Associate Professor of Political Science at Lund University, gave her talk „Gender, Sex and the Post-national Defense“. Rosa Balfour from the European Policy Centre gave an interesting lecture about the European Union and its reactions to the Arab Spring.
On Friday, 30th September, Diana Panke, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University College Dublin, talked about small states in the decision-making processes of the European Union.
